Monday May 24th Justin broke his wrist in an Indoor soccer game. Of course these types of things never happen during regular business hours...
So... at about 12:30 am Justin and a few of his soccer buddies/brothers headed to the Emergency room to help out his OBVIOUSLY broken wrist.
This reminds me of something that should be on one of those sick TV shows where kids get in skateboarding accidents. Pretty nasty eh? At least if he did it he did it well!
I wanted to throw up when I saw this! Poor guy was in a lot of pain!
Justin has never broken a bone in his life... Go big or Go home baby!
After a few hours of sitting there waiting for them to get ahold of the on call Ortho specialist in the middle of the night- the Dr. arrived and put Justin's fingers in this fancy little finger trap contraption.
He placed his arm vertical and hung a 10 lb. weight from his bicep. Then let gravity take control and try and pull his wrist back into place as much as possible. OUCHIE!!
After lots of pain and the block they put in his wrist finally kicking in, the Dr. came in and pulled, yanked, pushed, kneaded, and manipulated Justin's wrist until it was somewhat back into place.
He was put in this cute lil temporary cast and sling, told to come back in the morning to talk with the doctor about options and sent home! After going and filling his prescription and getting him ready for bed, we finally hit the hay at 5:00 am. LONG night! Justin is one tough cookie! What an adventure!

Oh my gosh! That picture of his wrist is so gross. It looks very painful! Hope that is heals quickly for him and doesn't cause him too much pain!
Oh my gosh this seriously makes my stomach sick. Seeing those kinds of things freaks me out just thinking of how bad that must've hurt! I'm so sorry. What a fun little adventure. I love how you're there taking pics the whole time. I would be the same way!
