Happy Valentine's day, I'm only a couple months late! I've argued with people before on our opinions about V-day and I'm sure you have your own but as for me? I love it! Sure you can say "You should show your love everyday not have to have a holiday to do so." or "It's a retailers scheme to get you to shop" etc. I just love the people I love and am excited to have a day to make SURE they know it!
I made Justin this cheesy candy bar poster...
It's tradition I make heart shaped sugar cookies for Valentine's day. Justin's mom used to make cookies that spelled out "love" for her kiddos and leave them by their bed V-day morning with a note saying how much and why she loved them. (8 kids, yes, she was a saint). Since she is no longer here to do it I've always kept that sweet tradition alive. I'm sure hers were more beautiful than mine! :)
My darling husband sent me flowers, chocolates, and a teddy bear at work. What a fun surprise! I LOVE him!
My first love, daddy, surprised me with matching earrings to the necklace my bro Nicholas gave me for Christmas. I was SO excited and I LOVE them!!
My mom and dad gave us a cute little treat. They are so thoughtful and generous to us!
My mom and I gave the boys personal training passes to the gym! (Seems kind of strange to go along with a candy bar poster huh?:)) Side note, they are still going strong and doing a great job!
I was lucky enough to have a hot date for the night planned by my sweetie!
We went to dinner and then saw Safe Haven- I had just finished reading the book and J knew how excited I was to see it. So sweet of him when I know he'd rather watch something blow up!
We played arcade games while we waited for our show to start.
hmmm.... this is about par for the course when I play anything with my talented hub!
Happy love day to all. I'm so thankful for all the wonderful people I get to love in my life. I'm blessed beyond words!
