Happy Easter!

Saturday morning we had a delicious Brunch and an egg hunt!
 Waiting to begin...Ready, Set, GO!

Aves and I were matchy matchy at church on Easter Sunday. One of the younger girls in our ward told my lil bro he thought it was cute that he matched with his wife.... guess they don't know us very well :)
After an amazing dinner, we had a discussion about the last week of Christ's life.  The kids helped depict Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
It was fun to feel the spirit of why we celebrate Easter.  I'm so excited to get to see my grandma and Justin's parents again someday.  To live with my loved ones forever is the greatest gift I could ever ask for.  I'm so thankful for my Savior!  I know he lives!

St. Pattie's Day

While we watched the widgets they had a sweet setup downstairs.  They each  had their own individual bed.
Their cute Grandma reading them bedtime stories.
We had a fun green St. Patrick's Day party!

With lots of green things to eat...
 and drink!
Then we played some fun Irish games- musical chairs to an Irish Jig
Hunting for gold coins that the leprechauns left

 Irish word scramble

 Leprechaun races

and Irish word finds.  We ended the night with a plate o' green dessert.  Hope you didn't get pinched!

A day of LOVE!

Happy Valentine's day, I'm only a couple months late!  I've argued with people before on our opinions about V-day and I'm sure you have your own but as for me?  I love it!  Sure you can say "You should show your love everyday not have to have a holiday to do so." or "It's a retailers scheme to get you to shop" etc.  I just love the people I love and am excited to have a day to make SURE they know it!

I made Justin this cheesy candy bar poster...

It's tradition I make heart shaped sugar cookies for Valentine's day.  Justin's mom used to make cookies that spelled out "love" for her kiddos and leave them by their bed V-day morning with a note saying how much and why she loved them.  (8 kids, yes, she was a saint).  Since she is no longer here to do it I've always kept that sweet tradition alive.  I'm sure hers were more beautiful than mine! :)
My darling husband sent me flowers, chocolates, and a teddy bear at work.  What a fun surprise!  I LOVE him!
My first love, daddy, surprised me with matching earrings to the necklace my bro Nicholas gave me for Christmas.  I was SO excited and I LOVE them!!
My mom and dad gave us a cute little treat.  They are so thoughtful and generous to us!
My mom and I gave the boys personal training passes to the gym!  (Seems kind of strange to go along with a candy bar poster huh?:)) Side note, they are still going strong and doing a great job!
I was lucky enough to have a hot date for the night planned by my sweetie!
We went to dinner and then saw Safe Haven- I had just finished reading the book and J knew how excited I was to see it.  So sweet of him when I know he'd rather watch something blow up!
We played arcade games while we waited for our show to start.
hmmm.... this is about par for the course when I play anything with my talented hub!

Happy love day to all.  I'm so thankful for all the wonderful people I get to love in my life.  I'm blessed beyond words!
