While I was snooping...

I'm playing on my brother's laptop (he has no idea- thanks cor:)) and since I am A: a lover of pictures and my niece and nephew and B: a pretty big snooper, I decided to take a look in his pictures... I found some fun memories and thought it would be fun to share!

Below is a picture of Justin and I at Kannon's Chuckee Cheese Bday party! We were dating and sat in a booth that sketched a little picture of us. I remember looking at that picture and thinking how handsome Justin was :) We sure had fun when we were dating!

This is Kannon and El at the rodeo when Kannon rode a calf... Isn't this picture the cutest? He was sooo into cowboys there for a sec and of course (especially according to 8 seconds and all the other movies he loved) cowboys ride in rodeos!!! I believe he stayed on for about .08 seconds. It was fun to watch nonetheless!!

This was Kannon on Easter a LONG time ago! I'm guessing like 2007. Handsome boy.

These are the two cute widgets that we love.

These two pics are definately a walk down memory lane for my family. Good thing we have each other to lean on and get through the hard times. We are crazy and disfunctional but we love each other and that is all that matters.

2007

Oh the memories of Avery Wrestling! He had never wrestled in his life (apart from the daily beatings he gave me) and decided his 9th grade year to try it out. He rocked the house. His coaches couldn't believe he had no experience and was so dang good... they were all bummed he didn't continue after that year. It was fun watching him but I am happy he stopped so he didn't ever get cauliflower ear :)
Cory- thanks for the wonderful walk down memory lane!! Even if I didn't have permission to do so... Love you!

Waiting...

For my dentist appointment today.
Yes, this will be the FIFTH time I have gone in regarding my root canal- this time I am going to a specialist.
Nothing I ever do is easy!!!

While trying to ignore the pain and 'it will get better'ing it, I found a large lump on my gum above my tooth.. .infection, YUCK!

Am I white trash? I promise I brush my teeth!!! Wish me luck- I am not excited for this!

Kannon's Birthday Gifts!

For Kannon's Birthday present we sent him on a little scavenger hunt...
When he finally found the treasure he stood there with wide eyes, mouth hanging open, obviously very excited... I said, 'do you know what it is?' He said... no! Ha ha
Justin made him some wicked awesome targets for his AR 15 air soft gun that Grandma and Grandpa got him
He also got a new outfit- 'jazz warm-ups' and brand new jordans!! Gma and pa sure do spoil him! :) He made a haul!
His sister kinda likes him too.

Neener is 7!!!

Happy 7th birthday to Kannon! For his bday party he wanted a Jazz party...
We all ate pizza and churros, even Ryder had a little taste!
He wanted Cory, Avery, and Justin to teach the boys how to play basketball; they did lots of drills and then had a game
He wanted Grandma, Mom, and Tiffy to teach the girls how to be cheerleaders
We did their hair and makeup, helped them make jazz ponytail holders, made 'Go Jazz' posters, and taught them some cheers!
We all wore our Jazz jersey's and of course had lots of fun with the little man.

Can you even believe that Kannon is SEVEN?!? holy cow those years have flown by!! We sure do love him and the joy he brings into our lives. Happy Birthday Buddy.

81 Years... and many more to go!!!

Happy 81st birthday to my Grandpa!!!!! We had a little dessert celebration the other day for the old man! We also celebrated Ina's birthday; she turned the big 8-0 a few days before.

Ina is such a sweetheart!! We really are blessed to have her in our lives! It is always a little nervous when a family member remarries after a death of a loved one... I have heard so many horror stories about them taking them away from the family etc. But we truly have the best 'step' grandma we could have hoped for!!

Ina lived in my Grandparents ward for many years; in fact when my grandma got so sick at the end, Ina came down to clean the house for her because she was too worn out to do it! She visited with my grandma and I know it meant a lot to her!

She has been so wonderful since marrying Grandpa, she invited the family over to dinner at her house (surely in an effort to make us feel comfortable there) and has been more than willing to spend time with Clyde's crazy bunch!! I am sure we overwhelm her, she is far more proper and distinguished than us- although never makes us feel that she feels that way! She is a wonderful cook and a very talented painter.

She always greets us with hugs and me with a 'you're such a pretty girl!'. She truly is a dear and more than anything I am thankful she has been there for my grandpa and taken such good care of him! I am so happy to know he is not alone! We are very blessed to have it be Ina whom Grandpa married!! We are happy she is a part of the family and love her for the sweetheart that she is!!
My Grandpa is seriously one of the absolute best people I know! (I am not just saying that because its his birthday and I have to say something nice about him!)

I truly do not know anyone who could say one bad thing about him! What a wonderful way to live your life, with no enemies!! Grandpa is kind, thoughtful, and ok... just a little bit sarcastic :) He will help ANYONE with ANYTHING and has spent millions of hours in his life doing projects for his kids.

He is loyal.... to his family that he loves, to the 10 o'clock news (I never worry calling him late at night because I know he is up watching the news- I have however startled him a time or two as he has started to doze off right before the weather), to his Church and his Savior, to the BYU Cougars, and to his beloved game of golf!

I really don't think he could hurt a fly and I have never heard him say one negative word about anyone. He truly is an amazing man. My favorite thoughts of my grandpa are in the sweet tender memories I have of the way he took care of his sweetheart, my grandma. She was a feisty little gal and grandpa was patient and loving every step of the way. The night before she died- she was not very responsive at all- he held her all night long knowing he did not have much time left with her. I will never forget the loving way he cared for her not only in those last few months but throughout her whole life!!

I loved sleeping over at Grandma and Grandpa's house, waking up to watch The Price is Right while Grandpa made me 'hotcakes' for breakfast!!

He is sweet as can be but surely a stubborn fellow as well!! He doesn't complain about ANY pain he has... even to the point where Grandma had to call in the big guns (tough aunt Kristen) to get Grandpa to go to the hospital when he was having signs of a heart attack. He just wanted to relax in his famous Lazy boy until the pain would surely go away!

I love my Grandpa soooo much. I have always felt like I am the favorite Granddaughter :) but the more observant I get the more I realize that he makes everyone feel like they are the favorite. I've known forever that I wanted to marry someone like my Grandpa- I don't know if there is any bigger compliment than that! (I think I got pretty close:)) And the best thing about him??? He was a Davis Dart!

Happy birthday Grandpa!!!!!!!!!! I love you SO SO SOOOO much! I know you still have many years left in that body of yours, and you better stick around for a long time or you'll have to deal with me!

Way back 'when'sday

Isn't he cute?!?! This picture was taken over 8 years ago when cute Brittney and Becca Boo were just newborns! I love this pic cause it show how natural Justin is with little ones! (plus I just love babies!... and Justin!)

Last night I was up ALL night long sick! I seriously think I got 2.5 or 3 hours of sleep! Throughout my tossing and turning I woke Justin up accidentally and he of course got up and got me some medicine and rubbed my back until I FINALLY fell asleep! He is so sweet and takes such good care of me and I know he will take amazing care of me when I am big and fat and prego (NOT AN ANNOUNCEMENT) and will also be wonderful when one day we have a newborn! I'm thankful for his awesomeness! Happy Way back Whensday!

Happy New Year!! Bring on 2010!

We once again had a fabulous fun filled New Years Eve! We had another family party and played all the infamous games we have in years past, with a few new ones added! We played for 4 1/2 hours! Thank you to my family for humoring me!

The balloon game is always a joy, my family gets pretty rough and I think there were a few internal injuries! All in the name of fun!
Guess the celebrities...
And of course the classic (and my personal favorite) the marshmellow game!

musical post it notes
Who can make the funniest face?? A very entertaining yet rather embarrassing game!
Ryder wasn't very happy when Grandpa tried to help him make a silly face!

e

Avery had so many he couldn't choose.
aMad eye moody, my fav!
Beautiful, I know!
Tossing Skittles into cups to earn points!
One game we played we blindfolded the player and then placed another person in front of him, he had to use wooden spoons to identify who was standing there!

Cory discovering who he was guessing
People started to get a little tricky...
And then really creative!
Ryder was such a good boy! He stayed up all night and was happy to play along with everyone!

He was however, a little concerned when people started the fireworks and noisemakers at midnight!

My New Years Kiss!

Happy New Year! Thanks to my beloved fam for another great party!!
