32 Years!!!

Happy 32nd Birthday to the best husband in the world!! In honor of this monumental occasion, here are 32 fun facts/things I love about Justin...
#1 He has an adorable little dot on his earlobe- sometimes it looks like his ear has been pierced, which it hasn't.

#2 When he sleeps on his back, he snores.

#3 He spoke Cambodian on his mission to Boston. Dale Murphy was his mission president.

#4 When we were dating he said 'the way my blues eyes shined put the stars to shame' (Taylor Swift song) I thought that was adorable! Except my eyes are green- which I made sure to let him know. He was never afraid to say cute cheesy remarks. I happen to like cheesy.

#5 He wiggles his toes around while he is watching TV. Its really cute.

#6 He has 7 siblings. 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

#7 He played soccer in high school.

#8 He pretty much rubs my back every night before I fall asleep.

#9 He is one of the few people I know who listens to my frustrations and actually tries to change whatever the problem is.

#10 He is not one of those guys who sits and watches sports for hours on end. He is not even sad if he misses an important game, as long as he can check the score on his phone :)

#11 He is not a fan of potatoes...?!?
#11 Justin's sweet mom died of cancer, before I ever got to meet her.

#12 He will go see any chick flick with me and doesn't even complain, really! He is also in touch with his emotions, we went to see the Joesph Smith Movie at the JSMB and he cried, cute!

#13 DIMPLES!!!!!!!! AHHH!!! I really have nothing else to say than that!

#14 He can't eat too many oranges or he gets cankers.

#15 He has extremely attractive hands.

#16 He could probably count on 2 hands the number of zits he has had in his lifetime. Lucky soul.

#17 He isn't a huge fan of wearing a wedding ring (or wasn't at first) but he wears it everyday because he knows it means a lot to me :)

#18 He truly would do anything for anyone. Lucky him he gets a lot of opportunities to do so, I volunteer him frequently!

#19 He is NOT obsessed with video games!! In fact he never really plays at all, something I absolutely LOVE!!

#20 He can however be a couch potato, but doesn't get upset when I interrupt him for various projects.

#21 He is SO cute with kids. He will be an amazing dad someday.

#22 He is not a prideful person at all.

#23 He can fix ANYTHING! For real, lately he fixed the short in my flat iron cord so I didn't have to buy a new one, my laptop that was jacked up, his break pads, transmission, and the big bar thing that holds the wheels on his truck (ha ha I can't even think of the name!), the sprinkler back flow preventer- saving us like $200, and my parents computer on a regular basis. I love this about him!
#24 He has gotten up several times in the pitch black and checked out the house because I heard a noise that scared me!

#25 He is seriously the most easy going person I know!! He is patient, not prone to worry, and does not get jealous.

#26 He really loves his dad.

#26 I'm pretty sure everyday since we met he has told me that I looked cute- and let me tell you what, I have NOT looked cute everyday since we met. But he tells me anyway and I love it!

#27 He let me collapse into his arms when I found out my mom had cancer, he's the one person who really knew what I was going through.

#28 We found out when we were looking through his scrapbooks (his mom made him like 6) that although we grew up miles apart and he is 8 years older than me, we had the same seminary teacher! One of my favorites- Brother Wilde! Bro. Wilde was not however the teacher who kicked him out of seminary... something I am not very proud of him for! He was making animal sounds in class... hmmmm....

#29 Justin NEVER swears around me. He knows I don't like it and so he stopped. How awesome is that? I like to think he doesn't swear when I am not around as well :)

#30 He can fall asleep in like 2 minutes flat!

#31 His toes are really short for a man of his size (he's 6 foot 4!!) Its amazing he doesn't just tip over!

#32 He really is the best person I know and I'm so lucky to have him!
Happy Birthday Babe. Thanks for being my everything. I love you.

Congratulations Eby Family!!

I am so proud of and excited for Veronica and her family! They were sealed for ETERNITY last week and I was privileged enough to witness the wonderful event! It was so much fun to visit and catch up with Bonnie before the sealing started!! As I told her, I'm so lucky to have met all the girls I did in beauty school. They have been some of my truest friends and although I may not see them all the time, it seems we always just pick up right where we left off!

This has been a long road for Veronica! She has fought for this day for a long time. She never gave up and she never lost faith that they would make it to the temple. She's a wonderful example to me. She KNOWS how important this day was for her family. I think sometimes we (especially me) take our sealings for granted... unless we don't have one, then it becomes very important. Watching this sweet little family kneel together in the temple, especially their precious new baby, really made me remember and appreciate what a blessing it is to be sealed as an eternal family. It made me so thankful that I married an amazing, worthy man so that one day when we are blessed with our own little spirits from Heaven, they will be ours FOREVER. I'm so excited Veronica gets this too!!

After the temple we had a wonderful, beautiful dinner/reception. I'm so happy she finally got her fairy tale wedding, the first time she was married it was in my house! Veronica is a WONDERFUL person. A truly unselfish, good person. She so deserves this happily ever after and I couldn't be more happy for her!!

Yo Mamma!!

Happy Birthday to seriously the best mother on the face of the earth!! I'm so thankful for her and all she does for me.

We woke up on the big day and I did her glitter toes!! Then I took her up to my salon and gave her a footsoak and did her makeup. After that we met these awesome people below for a yummy lunch- thanks Grandpa!! It was aunt Kristen's bday the day before so it was fun to celebrate them both!
After our yummy lunch my mom and I went and saw The Last Song! We both just finished the book and were so excited to see the show! I liked it except I really wasn't a fan of Miley Cyrus- sorry if that's rude! The boy was cute though :)

We then went home, met up with the family, opened presents, and went to Olive Garden for dinner, YUM! We just hung out the rest of the night, my mom was in a lot of pain, poor thing, so she rested while Justin and I went to Avery's softball game.

I love you mom, you are my bestest friend and I am so thankful Heavenly Father blessed me with such an amazing mom to be so close with and then let me keep you here for awhile longer :) People tease how close we are but really, I love it and I'm thankful I have mom who I CAN be close with. You are the best example in the world to me. I wish more than anything I could take away all your pain... someday. Love you!! Happy Birthday!!

Some Fun Visitors!

I met these 2 cute twins Austin and Stefan 8 years ago at EFY with my best cuz Heidi. They are wonderful, amazing people! We have kept in touch on and off through the past 8 years, and it was SO great to see them when they stopped by while passing through Utah!

I've always wanted to have twins and been so intrigued with the neat bond and relationship twins have. These two are best friends and are always lookin out for one another, its so dang cute! I'm so happy they took time out of their busy schedule (they are friends to millions :)) to come and see me. It was so fun to reminisce, catch up, and get to introduce Justin to the Wood boys. I love those guys!! And... EFY rocks. I would still go if they would let me!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Ok call me lame or immature or spoiled or whatever you wish- but I absolutely LOVE my birthday!! I love having a fun filled day and the specialness I feel :) Thankfully my cute family and husband humor me in my retardation!!

My birthday and Christmas are my 2 fav days of the year. They are the only days I willingly wake up early- I want to squeeze every ounce out of them that I can! My birthday started with Justin making me a WONDERFUL gourmet breakfast! He is such a good cook! He then gave me my presents... something different from what I grew up with- we always open gifts in the evening. I'm not gonna lie it was a little fun opening his gifts first and getting to wear them all day :) Justin is such a good shopper, I never worry about anything he buys me, he has such good taste!
He gave me this freaking cute shirt and a pair of shoes that I LOVE!!

After his gifts he handed me a note which turned out to be from my mom... I love the Hometown Values mag. like seriously I get excited when it comes so I can look through it. I never really use it but I fully enjoy browsing!

So my mom's note said that for my birthday present she was going to take me shopping in my 'Hometown'... It was a race and a game- Justin was taking off the second half of the day so I had the first half of the day (only until he showed up) to use any coupons out of 'Hometown Values' that I could. There were rules, I could only buy what the coupon said- like if it said 20% off 1 item, I could only buy 1 item, even if I liked other things. I couldn't buy gift cards and I had to be done when Justin arrived.

The race was on! I drove so fast to my moms and I was soooo excited! She is so cute, creative, and thoughtful!! Plus she knew I wouldn't take advantage of her :)
I ripped out all the coupons that I thought might interest me and then tried to put them in some type of order! It was VERY overwhelming! I didn't know where to go first or what to buy- I am horrible with decisions! I def took way too long at each location!

My first stop was Posh- a super cute boutique. There I got a Murder Mystery Dinner game, something I have wanted to do for a LONG time!! They were 1/2 off. It was hard to not buy all the cute clothes and shoes there but I knew I would love hosting my Murder Dinner- can't wait to do it!! I also got a super cute pair of earrings there.

Then it was off to Miya another cute lil store- there I got some super cute and cheap skinny jeans! Love em!
I just love my mom. She really is (besides J) my bestest friend. I am so thankful I have her and that we are so close! This was so sweet of her to make my birthday so fun!!
Next was off to Raw a Buckle-esque store. So fun- here it was VERY hard to choose just what the coupon could be used for. There was so many cute things to choose from! But mom stuck to her rules! :)
Here I got a way cute pair of jeans I love and some freaking amazing high heels! Oh they are so cute!!!
We ran quickly to Rod Works (I had made an appointment for later!) and I got a really cute shelf to hang at home.. maybe in my bathroom? I'm excited to put it somewhere!
And last but not least I made a quicky appointment- thankful they had one open- for glitter toes!! Can you believe I have never had glitter toes??
I mixed pink and purple- my 2 fav colors- and I am in love with them! I love just staring at my toes! They make me so happy!!
La Bella Vita Salon where I got my toes done- its fun to be on the other end of the pampering for once! Usually I'm the one pampering the clients! It was fun to go in as a customer!!
When Justin showed up the Race was over- it was so fun but I was really excited to see him :) We picked him and Avery O up and went to grab some quick pizza before going to see The Bounty Hunter- love J. Aniston and G. Butler!!
Then we went home and I was shocked (that horrible face I'm making is supposed to be surprised) to receive my first gift ever from my lil bro. Bless his heart he is growing up :) It was a piece of paper that said 'It's in the mail' ha ha. It turned out to be a gift card for the movies! I was excited, I love the movies- thanks bo!

My dad also gave me a cute card and a gift card for some music- he knows I have his blood running through my veins and I am obsessed with music like him! Hey- like father like daughter!
The first thing I saw when I woke up in the morning was this sticker on my mirror- they were stuck on all kinds of mirrors through our house and my parents house, Justin is so cute!!
I also had this beauty on my car window all day (and no I have still not taken it off). Isn't he the sweetest?? He always does things to make my birthday special and I love him!!
Then we went out to dinner at Tepanyaki- my favorite!! It was so yummy! I really missed Cory, Paige, and the kids who were away in Vegas (but thanks for the DARLING gift!) and Nicholas, who lives in Cali! I wished we all could have been together for my bday- thats the only thing that would have made it better!! But everyone called to give me birthday wishes so thanks guys!
After dinner I MADE everyone play games! (That is one of the best perks on your birthday, people have to do what you say:))

They were pretty good sports!
Then we sang happy birthday and I ate my favorite cake ever- Bowman's white cake with white whip cream frosting!! We did however have a good laugh at the decorating... usually it is better! My mom said she wanted balloons and like purples, oranges, yellows, just bright colors... well that's EXACTLY what she got! It gave us a good laugh!
After blowing out the candles we watched a movie and then played another game! I like to stay up late to use every minute right up :)

I had a WONDERFUL birthday!! I really am a lucky girl. Thank you to Justin and my family for making it so special for me, I love them so much and don't deserve any of it! THANK YOU!!! Twenty four is rough, I wish I could have birthdays without actually having to get older! And it is a little sad to wake up and know I have to wait 365 days to have another special day- oh wait, they make everyday special! Love you all and thanks again!!

A Very Happy Easter!!

We sure love Holidays at our house! Mom and Dad made Easter just as fun as usual!
We each got an egg...
Which led us to our present- a new Spring shirt!!
Ryder had fun with the eggs, last Easter he was only a couple of weeks old!

Dad even got one :)
Then came the hunt for the eggs! We each got to get four eggs (I'm wearing my cute shirt they gave me!)

Inside the eggs was some treats and some sweet moo-lah!!! Wow were they generous- As usual! Justin and I did pretty well :) Thanks mom and daddy!!
Ever put a pair of socks on a baby's hands? You should try it haha, very entertaining! He was very confused and could not figure out how to get out of them. We are so mean, he sure is a cutie!!
The Easter egg hunt was pretty intense, I jumped for high egg and knocked my moms Willow Tree off her hutch! Sorry momma!
Ahhh I love him!!!
Later on in the evening I walked in the kitchen to see how Avery had reassembled the Willow Tree... ya, we laughed pretty hard about this one!!

Thanks so much to the parentals for another wonderful family event!! We love you guys!! Conference was awesome too! I always love watching Conference, it was fun to have it on Easter to be a little more focused on what Easter is really about- Our Savior and his Atonement and Resurrection! We are so thankful for Him!!!

Michael Buble' = AMAZING!!

This concert was AMAZING!!! We were lucky enough to get to go last minute when my parents were offered suite tickets... they gave their regular tickets to us! Thanks guys sooo much!! We sure had a blast!! Cory and Paige and friends Dan and Heather also went- awesome, entertaining company, especially with Dad in the car through all the traffic getting in and out:) Love ya Dad.
Opening act was a group called Naturally 7- one of those groups that make all the instrument noises with their mouths, they were pretty tight!

Mikey is seriously an incredible singer and entertainer!! I have always loved him now I love him even more! I was so impressed with how humble he was and how thankful he was to all of his fans. I love famous peeps who know where they came from and why they're there :) A wonderful night I won't soon forget. Thanks mom and dad!!
