I LOVE Valentine's Day!! I think it is so fun (when you have a Valentine that is- plus having a super darling husband makes it extra fun as well!) With it being on Sunday this year we had to be a little more creative and it turned out wonderful!
We came home from church to find this cute basket full of yummy treats, surprises, and gift cards from my parents! They drove the 45 min out simply to drop it off at our house! Are they not the best?!?! We are so lucky to have them, I really do have the greatest folks in the world! I love them so much!! Thank you soo much for the wonderful surprise! It was so fun and greatly appreciated!!
Justin of course made the day sooo special! I woke up to a "Bachelor date card" on my night stand telling me I would experience my own Bachelor episode for the day!! It was sooo stinkin cute! And only got cuter! Is this not any Bachelor watching girl's dream??
My next card was sitting outside the door on this little table saying I was invited to breakfast, which Justin made for me!
The next card was with a box saying I could wear these freaking gorgeous shoes -that I love- on our one on one date (to church) I was sooo excited!!
I got another card outside my door inviting me to a one on one date for dinner- this incredibly yummy candle light dinner that Justin made for me! He is such a good cook! Better than me!
Of course on the table at dinner was a tray with a rose!! Don't worry, he offered it and I accepted it :) There was also a card on the table from 'Chris Harrison' inviting us to stay as a couple in the fantasy suite should we choose to forgo our individual rooms! How cute is that?!?! Seriously!
I'm sure the world agrees with me that Justin is the best husband in the whole world!! He is so sweet and thoughtful and unselfish! I Do NOT deserve him!!
When Avery found out what Justin did he said "My wife is going to hate me!" Don't worry I explained to him that this is not natural for Justin, he is a dude and would rather be hunting or whatever but because he is so sweet and loves me more than he loves himself he comes up with sweet things to make me sooo happy! He works so hard to come up with things he knows I would love and that is what means the most to me! Not the shoes, the dinner, or anything else, but the thought behind it and the effort and time spent to make it special!
All in all I received 7 date cards and the final rose, and had such a fun day! Thanks babe for making it so special and wonderful for me! I love you!!

Can you even believe it?? Avery's papers are in Church Headquarters waiting to be assigned a call!! We could know as soon as Wed. Feb. 24th!

Justin's lil brother Dave is 30!! To celebrate we got together and went bowling, we had lots of fun! Happy Birthday Davey!

Cross your fingers that I am done with this FOREVER! I am so sick of being drilled, poked prodded, and squoze like a giant zit! EWE!!! I am far too much of a sissy to put up with this wretched pain!!

I got to sit next to this cute kid during the Jazz game the other night, yes the wonderful one where we got to a 9 game winning streak, not the dumb one with the loser Lakers. 
Superbowl Sunday was awesome. We made a huge variety of appetizers to eat while watching (pizza pockets, chips and salsa, motz. sticks, jalapeno poppers, brownies, cookies, BBQ chicken wings, Shirley Temples and loaded nachos) Nannew didn't like the nachos with the works on them so I told him I'd make some plain ones just for him. Apparently I cooked them a bit too long because he couldn't pull them apart... he shrugged his shoulders and just picked the entire plate up and ate it like a pizza. Ha ha I thought it was quite humorous! Good times!
Another Grandpa, another Birthday, another reason to get together for yummy treats! My fav. memory of my Daddy's Daddy would of course have to be all the fun date nights he used to take me and my best cuz Heidi on when we were little! He would pick us up, we were all decked out in a lovely dress- it felt like the prom, and give us beautiful corsages to wear! He took us out on the town, shopping for toys, and many times our dates ending in wonderful sleepovers with yummy breakfasts by Grandma! Heidi and I had so much fun on our dates! 
We also celebrated a few other birthdays that were very close to Gramps! Dads on the 29th, Kannon's on the 22nd, Grandpa's on the 1st, and Butchie's on the 2nd
And this is where Ellie ended up at the end of the night. She must be related to me, I love laying on counter tops!
Happy birthday to the best dad in the whole world!!! We had a very low key birthday for dad (his request) but it was still loads of fun! Justin and I gave him a bag full of things he loves! Lame but what do you get the man who has EVERYTHING?? 
My dad is the greatest. He would do anything for me and I know he is always there. I have been thinking a lot lately about how not everyone can say that. I am so thankful for him! I love him SOOO much! I'm so lucky to be his only little girl and to get to have such a close wonderful relationship with my daddy! I have always admired him for his business smarts! He has grown and developed an amazing, thriving, successful business! He has so much to show for all his hard work! He know everything! I know when I have a question about anything, I can ask my dad! Not only is he smart but he is funny as heck! I love being around my dad! I'm so blessed to have him. I love you dad!! Happy birthday!!1
Today it has been 5 years since Justin's sweet mom Delores died. Although I have never met her, I have heard a lot about how amazing she was and can't wait to see her in the future. She raised an amazing son and for that I am thankful to her forever! I know she is greatly missed by her family. We are so thankful we know we will see her again!
