It's that time of year again!!! The 1st week in December is CRAZY in our family! We have 2 major parties and a few days working with the festival of trees! But tis the season for busy cram packed lives right?!? Me and my mom volunteered in the kids corner and had a blast!
Here is the tree we decorated for my cute cousin Emily.
Em was hit by a car when she was 3 and was life flighted to Primary Children's Hospital where she was given a 3% chance to live. Her sweet little body fought sooo hard! Through a coma, over 20 surgeries, 5 months in the hospital, many MANY years of therapy, medicine and DR visits, and lots of love from all of her family! Today she is 15 and is a ball of fun!! It has been a long hard road for Emmie and her family and we are soooo thankful she is still here today!! We Love her so much!
The fam came out and joined us after our volunteer shift was over...
They made the little sand necklaces (the station I worked in the Kid's Corner)
My dad is the one who donated all the little vials to put the sand in and let me tell you what, they were a hit!!
Ryder especially loved them!!

The cutest part of the day? When we got home I was FREEZING and so Justin was like hey- ya want me to warm your side of the bed up? He jumped on in and it was toasty by the time I got in! Isn't he cute?!?!
P.S. here are a few better shots of "Emmie's Tree" after we had just finished decorating it at home.
All in All we had a blast!! What a great way to be charitable this time of year! If you have never been to the Festival of Trees- you have to go!!!

I LOVE the festival of trees!!! You guys did a wonderful job, (like that's a big surprise) You are awesome. I love ya.
I love the festival and I love the kids corner! This year I stood by the trees and though it was fun, it was no where near as neat as the kids corner. I love the tree you and your mom made!
