My side's Kids Christmas party (I can't call it a cousin's party because there are no cousins!) was MUCH different than Justin's! 3 kids compared to 13 is HUGE in the realm of children! However, they were both equally fun and we loved being with the little ones that bring us so much joy :)Kannon and Ellie had fun making dinner to start our party off!
Then we made gingerbread houses- a fun, yet very messy, project!
Justin decided to join in the fun and was crushed when his house came tumbling down. I did not even attempt!
Kannon's masterpiece- those are his Christmas lights!
Ellie's house also collapsed!
I hung out with the little man while they worked on their houses
Shoveling some snow...
Playing Christmas memory
The infamous balloon game...
I thought it might be boring or stupid with only 2 kids participating- boy was I wrong! J and I laughed our heads off watching them wrestle each other to the ground!
I think they stomped on balloons a hundred times and their tiny feet still couldn't pop them! They were ruthless with each other... VERY entertaining!
Ry guy more observed the party :) I think he was aware that his mom and dad were nowhere around and he was a little sad... Not to mention he had a cold, which I am afraid I caught :( Oh well it was worth all the snuggles!! (he did however made me feel special wanting me to hold him the whole time!)
Playing 'Santa Says'
With my favorite- Santa says go kiss Tiffy
Kannon and Ellie sure have fun playing together- they are so stinkin cute!
Because of the small size of this party and the long distance in between our houses we made this a slumber party (something I wish I could have done with the other group but I am afraid I am just not that awesome of a person... either that or I am sane.)
We read a story before bed and talked about Jesus...
Ryder loved my Christmas Tree as much as I do!!
The kids practiced their head stands
We love them SOOOO much!
Justin made us a yummy breakfast in the mornin
All 3 kids in their cute zip up pajamas
feeding Ryder throughout the day and night gave me lots of time to just sit and look at the little guy. If you thought I was obsessed before then watch out! I especially am loving his precious little hands. Babies are so amazing. I watched him and gained a stronger testimony of our Heavenly Father and his plan for us! He sent us these sweet little munchkins so wonderful and innocent! I am so thankful for ALL our nieces and nephews!!
We had so much fun and wore the kids right out! (they did the same to us:)) Ryder was SO excited when he saw his daddy and mommy! Thanks for another awesome party! We love you widgets! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
