Pearl Harbor

While in Hawaii we got to go to Pearl Harbor and see the USS Arizona that sunk on that fateful day of Dec. 7, 1941. Justin and I both agree that this was probably one of the neatest things we did while we were there. As he says 'it gets ya in the heart!'

The Arizona sank and you can still see it underneath and above the water. Hundreds of men lay forever entombed inside the steel walls of the ship! They ask you to be very reverent because it truly is a final resting place for many bodies.

What a neat and spiritual experience! We are so thankful for all those who fought and continue to fight today for the many freedoms we enjoy! We are so lucky and take our lives for granted each and every day. HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!
