Goodbye Little Green Car.

Why are changes so rough on me? Even little ones, I struggle! With Avery gone, my folks had no need for the little green car anymore! This was my very first car! I remember the first night I picked it up. It was so fun to drive! So small and speedy and easy to maneuver compared to my parent's Tahoes that I practiced on! This little green car was awesome to park! See the scratches on the back trunk? Ya, I didn't pull in quite far enough before I shut the garage... oops. I learned a lot while driving this car! This is the car where I really learned all my mad driving skills in! It spent many days at Dear Old Davis High and many nights at Chevron. I drove it to all sports events and friends houses. Us girls had some gooood times in this little green car! This is what I drove my first time out to Justin's house. He said a civic fit me perfectly :) (I found out later he doesn't like green cars ha ha). Lots of smiles, tears, and laughter went on in this car! This is where I filled my first tank of gas and learned the importance of changing my oil.

I wish its walls could talk... they would have lots of fun stories to tell. I love all the memories I made in this little green car. More recently I love that it reminds me of my little bro. The big Yankee sticker in the window, the millions of air fresheners he always had in there and the baseball equipment that was always strewn about the back seat. I even love the clunks and rattles that started to happen over the years.

So, I reminisced all this as I drove my FIRST car for the LAST time.

I was happy to give it to the new happy owners. I know they will love it as much as I did.

Goodbye little green car. Thanks for all the good times.
