This party is always a night of chaotic fun-tastic-ness and this year did not dissapoint. It was a little more somber being the first year with both of Justin's parents gone, but I also think there was a special spirit there . . .
My best bud Ryan brought Caviar and since I'm on this new "I have to try everything even if I barf gig..." I ate it. Yuck! I told him it tasted like I wiped out wakeboarding and got a big gulp of fish poop filled lake water in my mouth!

Bryan, being the oldest took over the all important job of filling Grandpa's shoes and reading the Christmas Story to us. He even wore Bill's reading glasses.

All the kids got an ornament off of Grandma's Christmas tree- the house will be sold soon and this is our last Christmas in Gma and Gpa's house. Attached to the ornament was the poem "I'm spending Christmas with Jesus this year." So dang cute, and emotional!

The young kids all got silver coins from Grandpa for Christmas (Bill was a coin collector, nice ones)

They boys all got guns from Grandpa... dangerous I know!

The young ladies got a pure gold coin on a chain from grandpa. They were SO cute!

The ladies got aprons from Delores' hope chest. She got them from serving at her girlfriend's weddings years ago. This made me cry. Because I never knew her it was something so fun to have of hers.

Justin got his dad's temple bag and the coveted cookie jar that he once broke as a small child.
It was a great Christmas full of memories and reflections on 2 wonderful people. I'm sure they had just as special of a Christmas finally together again!
