The lights on party at the beginning of December has been amongst our Christmas traditions since I was a baby! It is so much fun! We go around to each families house and see all their lights with appetizers at each home then end up with desert at Grandma and Grandpa's. Every even year we head out to uncle Doug's house and have all the festivities there.
This year was in S.L. and there were several groups for intertainment.
I was in charge of the 'young married people' group.
We did two skits...
#1 was a skit about how Santa had to fire the elves and move the north pole to mexico because of the failing economy. (lets just say its cheaper to pay 'jose' to make the toys... thank heaven for bailouts!)
#2 was a skit about Scrooge and Marley... BOB Marley!
They both were awesome! I worked super hard on costumes! My favorites were Santa's cotton swab beard and Bob Marley's dread locks.
I had an amazing cast ;) Good job guys, we had a blast!
